Engineering & Manufacturing Capabilities
Accudyne operates a fully integrated manufacturing complex in Bell Gardens, California, combining heavy steel fabrication, precision CNC machining, electrical panel assembly, and comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Our vertical integration gives us complete control over quality, tolerances, and delivery schedules for every custom hydraulic press system we engineer.
Accudyne Engineering operates an 82,000 sq. ft. manufacturing campus in Bell Gardens, California. Our in-house capabilities encompass structural steel fabrication, large-envelope CNC machining, hydraulic power unit (HPU) assembly, custom control panel wiring, and full-load Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for custom hydraulic press systems up to 3,000+ tons.
82,000 Sq. Ft. of Heavy Manufacturing Infrastructure
Our multi-acre Southern California manufacturing facility is purpose-built to engineer, assemble, and test large-scale machine frames, multi-ton platens, and integrated automated production cells.
82,000 Sq. Ft. Under Roof
Dedicated high-bay areas for heavy structural fabrication, precision machining, hydraulic plumbing, electrical assembly, and final testing.
Heavy Crane & Lifting Capacity
Overhead bridge cranes capable of handling massive press beds, rams, bolsters, and heavy-tonnage slab-side weldments safely and efficiently.
5-Acre Manufacturing Campus
Substantial physical footprint allowing for the staged pre-assembly of multi-opening lamination lines, automated shuttle tables, and turnkey production work cells.
Southern California Manufacturing Hub
Strategically located in Bell Gardens, CA, close to major industrial transit corridors, ports, and top aerospace and defense supply chains.
Complete Vertical Integration Under One Roof
By managing cutting, welding, machining, piping, and controls programming entirely in-house, Accudyne eliminates third-party delays and enforces exacting dimensional tolerances across every machine component.
- Heavy Fabrication & Welding: Certified welders working with heavy steel plate, box-frame weldments, and slab-side architectures engineered to minimize deflection under full tonnages.
- Large-Envelope Precision Machining: Heavy horizontal and vertical boring mills, planers, and surface grinders holding tight flatness and parallelism tolerances (up to ±0.001”/ft) on large platens and beds.
- Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) Assembly: In-house fluid power engineering, custom manifold manufacturing, hard-line pipe bending, kidney-loop filtration, and proportional valve integration.
- Electrical & Controls Integration: Complete control console fabrication, UL-compliant panel wiring, and custom programming for Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs with Industry 4.0 data logging.
- Platen Gun-Drilling & Thermal Profiling: Deep-hole drilling for hot oil, steam, and water cooling passages, alongside high-temperature electric cartridge heater integration for platens operating up to 1800°F.

Comprehensive Testing Before Delivery
No press leaves our facility until it has been fully assembled, plumbed, wired, and tested under simulated production cycles to verify structural rigidity, cycle speeds, and thermal uniformity.
Full Mechanical Dry Runs
Complete pre-shipment assembly to verify ram alignment, gib tolerances, stroke limits, and daylight clearances under load.
Thermal Uniformity Surveys
Multi-zone thermal data collection to confirm that platens meet strict temperature distribution specifications across the entire forming surface.
Hydraulic Pressure & Flow Validation
High-pressure static and dynamic testing of cylinders, manifolds, and valves to verify zero leakage and consistent pressure ramp rates.
Customer Witness Testing
We invite client engineering and quality teams to our California plant to inspect full cycle operations and validate safety interlocks prior to teardown and shipping.
Industry Solutions FAQ
Can prospective clients tour the Bell Gardens manufacturing facility?
Yes. We regularly host engineering and procurement teams for technical review meetings, facility tours, and mid-build inspections of active press projects.
Does Accudyne outsource core machining or structural fabrication?
No. Accudyne maintains comprehensive in-house fabrication, heavy CNC machining, hydraulic plumbing, and electrical panel wiring at our 82,000 sq. ft. facility to maintain tight quality control.
What is the largest press tonnage Accudyne can engineer and assemble
Our heavy-lift crane infrastructure and high-bay testing areas are engineered to build and test custom hydraulic presses ranging from 15 tons to well over 3,000 tons.
